Our History
Heavy Duty Parts was created in 1994 by Kevin Booth and Jack Miles. Both founder members were part of the original team who together, helped establish Neoplan in the UK in the early 80's, through the original importer, Carlton PSV sales.
As a result of the relationships forged and the resources available, Heavy Duty Parts were able to supply every single part for Neoplan coaches, through the same distribution channels as the authorised UK dealer. Over the years new opportunities presented themselves thus allowing Heavy Duty Parts to procure parts not only for Neoplan vehicles but additionally Setra and Mercedes coaches.
Today, through a combination of these resources and manufacturer integration makes Heavy Duty Parts the only company in the UK, outside the dealer network, able to offer genuine parts for Neoplan, Setra, Mercedes and MAN. Since our incorporation in 1994 we are now the UK's largest independent supplier of spare parts to the PSV industry.
